Heyo. So take a wild guess who’s kicking off her career in the fashion biz. Well doh! This year I am a PR assistant at Mados Infekcija (Fashion Infection). It’s not really NY Fashion Week, but it’s also sponsored by Maybelline, meaning it still counts, ey! Plus it’s “the most prominent annual fashion festival in Lithuania”.
Therefore here goes some more free PR for the event a.k.a. photos of the first day! However, just because I am a lot of things: fashion biz wannabe, air-head and occasional bitch, I had to point out that the last photo is my fav one! Some cafeteria lady, a chick from german military and a guy, wearing something that looks incredibly like Ed Hardy, aaaaaand all of them sitting in the first row.
Freak Great Show!

I know I have said it before, so it doesn’t sound very credible coming from me, but I think I might have found THE perfect dress. Yes, AGAIN.
Guerre New Silk by Acne. It is short enough to make you look like a hooker (check!), could work as a hipster nurse costume for Halloween (check!) and also looks a tad like a straitjacket which, unless you have a fetish of this sort, is rather repelling and outweighs the hoe-show going on (check!).
Fingers crossed there’s 350€ in my piggy bank or it’s going to be a VERY bad day.

The title pretty much says it all. Roundup of footwear at London Fashion Week.

Beyonce with this Tee is practically just like Naomi with her blood diamonds. Ewww.
I can hear you saying Why Oh Why? Well SURPRISE, I’m going to tell you Why Oh Why. It’s because journalists in the US are as exploited as diamond miners in Sierra Leone.
A couple of years ago artist Shepard Fairey used The Associated Press’ photo without permission to create THE image, and BOOM was sued by the news agency for violating copyright. But now the Associated Press is in for more. They argue that using the image on T-shirts is wilful violation of the copyright of the photo, plus using it for free DEVALUED the work of journalists (AP filed lawsuits against Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom and Zumiez seeking unspecified damages). BBC News says, BBC News knows. Seriously, Beyonce, how could you.
